As you may have heard, the new iPhone 3G is, like $200.00 USD cheaper!  Awesome, right?

Well, kind of.  As Manjoo writes, it’s actually more expensive, taking the mandatory contract into consideration.  But the cost is spread out over monthly payments!  It’s like you’ve been pre-approved for 12% financing!  Yay!

I’m just dreading Rogers‘ announcement of what they’re planning to charge.
